ABOUT

Mackenna is not one to fit in with the crowd. She has created a world of her own, following her calling in music and acting, while also pursuing a master's degree in drama therapy and clinical mental health counseling at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Mackenna believes in the tremendous abilities of using the arts for therapeutic purposes. She is curating her own creative footsteps in a world that promotes "normalcy" and uniform thinking.

She began her work as a dancer at the age of 3, training in ballet, tap, jazz & hip hop. She transitioned to musical theatre and straight plays in her youth, ultimately leading to the pursuit of a BA in theatre performance from Fairfield University in CT. Mackenna has been a part of numerous productions, with leading roles in shows such as, "The Glass Menagerie" (Laura), "Pack of Lies" (Helen Kroger), and "Willy Wonka" (Veruca Salt).

Mackenna began her film career shortly after, and can be seen in FNB's drama-thriller, "The Train" (Grace), and Frank Durant and Polonia Bros. Entertainment's horror film series, "RIP 1 & 2" (Brom).

Mackenna currently works with music producer Alex Houton, of AHM, where we can expect to hear new original music being released soon. Special thanks to Quad Recording Studios (NYC).
